Strike!


I made this cake for a fun birthday party at Sparians, a bowling boutique and bistro in North Hills.  Lemon cake with cream cheese filling.  I hope when the party was over that the birthday girl had a few slices to "spare" because leftovers are always the best part!

  1. The cake looks amazing - you are very talented. How did you make the bowling pins? Are they card or fondant?

  2. Thanks! The pins were gum paste that I made several days in advance so they would harden completely and keep their shape.
