Just 129 days until the 2009 Masters! Even if you aren't invited to Augusta this year, you can celebrate with a cake while you watch the pros play. So put on your own green jacket and get ready. Here are some golf cakes and cupcakes from last season:

Treyburn Member-Member cupcakesThese cupcakes were delivered to the Treyburn Country Club in Durham, NC for their annual Member-Member tournament. A sugarpaste golf ball and flag sits atop a buttercream green on each pound cake cupcake.

Carter's golf cupcakes I made 75 cupcakes to celebrate a special 13th birthday and an annual North Carolina tradition - the NC Boys' 13 and Under Championship hosted by the Carolinas Golf Assocation. Winner of this year's tournament was the birthday boy (and also my son!) - what a way to celebrate! Golf balls are white chocolate sitting on a bed of buttercream grass. Edible flags are stuck in swirls of blue buttercream.

Golf birthday cake and cupcakes This cake was created to celebrate a 60th birthday for an avid golfer living in California. His family invited him back to North Carolina for a few rounds of his favorite game and then surprised him with a birthday party afterwards!
